Porn Folder for Windows 7

Lock your Windows folders natively!

If you like to keep your personal things private, then this is for you.
I've created a batch file (.bat) that will change access permissions of a folder of your choosing.

Simply run an installer, edit 2 lines and execute the script, couldn't be easier than that could it?

The neat thing about this is it doesn't hide your folder and you don't have to rely on some pesky program to load and lock and unlock things because this script takes advantage of Windows 7's built-in security and permission editing on the fly, unless you live in a household full of computer geniuses or something, you won't have to worry about anyone getting access to the folder.

    Instructions
  1. Download the provided archive (.zip file)
  2. Run subinacl.msi and install it.
  3. Update directory path on lines 206 and 215 of runthis.bat.
  4. Execute runthis.bat.

Note: I have included two registry keys which activate or deactivate the security tab on the properties of an object, disabling the security tab adds much more security and will make it nearly impossible to regain rights to that folder without technical know-how, these of course are optional.

FAQ
What is SubInACL?
SubInACL is a Mircosoft utlity to add command line perimeters to modify permissions of directories and what not, more info here http://bit.ly/owji5w.
Can someone delete the folder?
They cannot delete the folder after you have protected it, only when it's accessible.
Can they rename the folder?
They can't do anything to the folder unless it's unlocked.
Does this lock the folder or just hide it?
This does not hide the folder, it locks it completely you can't even open it!
Is this safe?
Yes, this is completely safe, nothing to modify but the folder itself.

Additional Information
It is a good idea to change the folder's icon so that it will not display thumbnails. You can do this by right clicking the folder and clicking the customize tab and then selecting change icon.

Every Penny Counts

In this article we discuss how you can find any item you want at the best price using the Internet

Have you ever wondered how you would get that new Bluetooth Stereo Headset or even that dreaded 16GB MicroSDHC card for your smart phone? Well in this brilliant era of technology we humanoids now have options!

Wait. Stop. Did this guy just say we have options?

YES!

You may just be able to scoop that jeweled laptop just yet... While having an understanding of your options on the internet today you must also ask yourself, if I'm going to be a smart shopper what else besides price will I need to know?

    Options
  1. E-Bay (Public auction website)
  2. Craigslist (Local internet rummage sale)
  3. Amazon ($uper saver surprises at every outlet)
  4. Google Shopping™ (Last resort to hunt down that bargain)
  5. Woot.com (Random daily deals, nothing all that great except the roombas)

Well those are 5 great options to choose from, the latter is just a daily deal where they do a price cut on any randomly selected item so cross-it out as an option for finding what YOU WANT. Since we have that out of the way, now it's time to question the reputability of these options. The first 4 all have similarities in the way they sale their items, although they also have unique features, E-Bay likes to provide you with a protection service, Craigslist just wants you to find something, Amazon lets many stores sell through them and Google Shopping is just that.

But, that's just not enough information to buy something through their service, is it? In order to be the ideal deal finder you need to ask questions about your product. Is it a tech gadget? Is it supposed to have batteries? Was it opened or used before? Where's it shipping from?

Usually everything you need to know about the item is posted in the description and you'll be fine. But, on there other hand there are those cheap imitations we call knock-offs circulating the Internet. First and foremost anything shipping from Hong Kong through E-Bay is probably a deal breaker right off the bat... Not only do you have to wait a week for arrival, but you are taking a chance to buy something from one of the best imitation markets in the world.

Something as generic as a 32GB usb which goes for $60+ in the US goes for about $14 there, wonder why? KNOCK-OFFS!

Be safe, shop smart. Also remember to modify your search if you're unhappy with the results the first time around, a good example of this would be:

Search 1: hp mini 311 would come up with results, but we want the exact item we're looking for, is there anyway we can modify the search to incorporate more details that make this item stand out?

Search 2: hp mini 311-1023NR; whoa the exact model # actually means something to these search databases. >:)

Above is just another way to successfully find your item. Many of these websites mentioned also provide a price/relevancy filter which you can apply if you want cheaper.

One final thought I'd like to mention is the results, make sure to skim through them in a precise manner if saving money means that much to you. You could end up missing that $100 reduction if you don't read carefully.

P.S. When buying through Craigslist, be sure the seller can verify the item and if it is a gadget be aware it could have complications you'll soon realize later on, so check it good.

Don't Dubai, do buy. (Yes, I've coined it).

Geohot Hacks Sony's PlayStation 3

Notoriously known by AT&T as the first successful iPhone hacker who managed to unlock the iPhone is at it again, George Hotz (geohot) has been causing a commotion in the PlaySation3 scene with his blog (http://geohotps3.blogspot.com) dating back to December of 2009. The blog itself is more of a timetable of George's progress towards successfully hacking the PlayStation3 and describing it thoroughly with details big or small. His adventure into the secured system has finally paid off, Geohot has managed to find a way to exploit the system and trick it to execute arbitrary code.

You can read more about his finding at his blog.

Although there is skepticism among the PS3 hacking scene as one blogger writes about his exploit having nothing to do with hacking the PlayStation3 at this blog (http://streetskaterfu.blogspot.com). It's up to you to figure out if you believe it or not; the hack is currently not for the average Joe, you will need to know some programmatic knowledge.

Gmail & Favicons

The popular e-mail provider Gmail by Google seems to have adopted favicons within it's message list, check it out.

I'm not quite too sure if it's a permanent change, but from a simple search on the topic you'll find that Google has attempted to implement such a feature way back in October of 2009. The picture below shows the original implementation of Gmail's favicon feature which is seen aligned to the right of the subject line in your inbox.

This seems like a great idea and adds more personality to the e-mail in general, I'll be able to tell if the e-mail is worth a read depending on it's importance simply by a glance at the icon, thanks Google.

Your Life in Moderation

This is a post I haven't written for a long time now, I didn't understand it all at first but here goes nothing...

People tend to think "I have to be", "I want to be", "If I don't..", "I'm not sure" those are some of life's general insecure thoughts. If you have never felt this way at all you are not human. I have given a lot of thought and have done a lot of reading; in general in my opinion our thoughts are controlled by society and media. I see there is need for more; simply living in America can't always be the best... "could it"?

Investigating the human mind is such a critical and theoretical study. Not only can't you be too sure; but there's a lot going against your evidence. No one truly understands the human mind and the entirety of the thought process. The soul in general is something one cannot understand completely because it's unique for everyone.

Not only is it hyperbole but much of America is fixed on the needs to provide; provide what? Provide everything, many want to be perfect; to achieve success, to be great, known, historical in some. The truth is; the brainwashing of the media, the un-truthful reporting of the media, the bullshit in politics, the corruption, the human soul and mind...

It's all unpredictable.

When one ventures into a lion's den; the lion kills. Not by thought or idea or even persuasion, but by instinct.

When one lies, it's by thought, by idea, the person has given life to the action and a little bit of it is instinct to survive, to protect.

To protect what? It could range from self image to family. It's important to know the way America is being influenced in today's modern age.

Is there a way to know if your life has been affected by such effects?
Yes. Do you find yourself asking all those questions? Do you feel too proud to admit such feelings? Have you dreamed of having everything? Do you wish you could be like another person? Are you a fan of another?

More to come...

Private Tracker TorrentLeech.org Downtime

Site is down, due to some emergency maintenance needed. Site will be back online tomorrow morning. The tracker will remain active however during this time. Thank you for your patience. We are sorry for the inconvinience caused.

Hello everyone, it's been awhile since I posted an update. Sorry to neglect you all.. popular private torrent tracker (TorrentLeech.org) is down for some odd reason.
You ratio cheats should really be careful, my guess is they are adding some fixes. I could be wrong though, it's been a while since I invaded the underground scene, some groups kind of kept me from caring too much, at least for a while. Fighting here and there, nfo trash talk (who needs it?). Anyways, the Playstation 3 has still not been hacked yet, come on where the fuck is that loader Reloaded? We can successfully run a striped version of Linux on that $400 hardware and can't even get a decent hack, where's everyone? Windows Mobile 6.5 CDMA cooked roms can be found at ppcgeeks. xda developer's as well for the GSM folks!

Oh yeah and I got myself a new HTC Touch Diamond last week, it's classy definitely a good buy ($300) insurance ($50 deductible for a replacement).

Summertime's here guys, are you ready for some summer fun?
