Final Fantasy 3 (FFIII) for the iPhone, Gold & Experience Cheats

For those of you with an iPhone, a very notable game has been released on the platform. The title of the game "Final Fantasy III", game play is in a 3D and open world environment, just like on the console versions. If you aren't into much games this one is worth checking out. It was released March 16, 2011 by SQUARE ENIX Co., Ltd.

I've attached a .zip archive below, I've modified a file for easy gil, easy experience or both. Please do not distribute or download these files unless you purchased the game and are using it as a backup.

Enough of the jabber, here's the sauce:




Note: Please read the comments for solutions to any problems you may encounter, this hack should work on all devices. Make sure you backup your original ff3 file located in 
/private/var/mobile/Applications/AEFBF631-CBE8-4A05-8ABA-8680D2F58301/ff3.app/

Download

After you replace the file, you should reboot your iPhone and then start the game, after that you will want to get into a random battle and win for the cheat(s) to take effect.

    hey.. what did i do wrong? i couldn't get any of those files to work.. now my game won't start at all (it goes back to iphone dashboard all the time), even i used my backup ff3 file... restart won't help..

    never mind, i think i got it, forgot to set 777 permission to ff3 file and set user to "mobile" :D

    Can anyone help me?? I used to be able to download just fine but lately web downloads don't work, I just get a message saying it failed to start saving or something like that, no idea why it is and no idea how to fix it, anyone know what to do???

    i dont have /private/var/mobile/Applications/AEFBF631-CBE8-4A05-8ABA-8680D2F58301/ff3.app/ in my file switching thing. i goto applications and its not there. help?

    This should work on the iPad, but not for the latest version of the game.

    It will have to be somewhere in the /Applications/ directory, you can use iFile to view the application names instead of seeing random variables.

    Every time I go to my menu, it only let's me go to items. I can't change jobs, equip weapons (only during battles), or anything else but save and config. Help?

    For people with the not being able to change other values problem, use the hack and get exp/gold, save the game, then replace the hack version with your backed-up version and you should be able to change jobs, equipment, etc.

    This is for FF3 version 1.0.0, if you want to use this hack, reinstall 1.0.0 and follow the procedure on the youtube link (backup the original), then save the game after using the exploit, replace the hacked file with the original. You can update to 1.1.1 at this point and load the save, it should work fine.

    @Chuuuuu

    This will work on iPods, iPads and iPhones, I have not tried this on an iPad. Make sure to do it on version 1.0.0 of FF3, then save and update if you must have version 1.1.1.

    thx for your hard work.but it just stopped everytime in combat , when about to attack. And then it goes back to springboard.what should i do? my version of game:1.3.0 , ipod touch 4th generation

    hello!

    I followed the instructions, using OpenSSH instead of iFile..
    Rebooted and everything, but it keeps crashing everytime I attack in combat.
    Any ideas on how to fix it?

    I forgotten to back up mind .
